Dr. Fixit Samshield XL is a SBS self adhesive waterproofing membrane based on a tropical grade of polymer modified bitumen. The bitumen compound is laminated onto an impervious, non-perforated, HDPE Valeron ® film. The membrane is protected on the self adhesive side with a silicone coated release film.

Typical Applications:
Dr. Fixit Samshield XL used as waterproofing and damp proofing intended for concrete protection. It may be used for horizontal and vertical application and as a damp proofing course for tanking below ground structures, subways, retaining walls etc.

Dr. Fixit Dampguard is a two-component coating composed of epoxy resin, curing agent, inert pigments & properly selected fine fillers, additives in water as a medium. It has an advantage of dilution with water for application over cementitious surfaces. It is used as an internal coating for the waterproofing treatments of water tanks and building walls because it can be applied over damp surfaces, has excellent water resistance, adhesion, hardness, toughness and sets faster similar to solvent based epoxy formulations.

Dr. Fixit Pidiseal PS is a two-part elastomeric sealant based on a liquid polysulphide polymer which when mixed with accelerator (curing agent) cures by chemical reaction to form a tough, flexible rubber seal. This sealant has excellent Fuel resistance, adhesion to different substrates like masonry, concrete with excellent movement accommodation. It is far more superior to conventional joint sealant materials such as bitumen, mastics and expansion-sheets.

Precautions & Limitations
£ Maximum width for application in a joint is 50 mm.
£ Do not expose the sealant to high temperatures.
£ Sealant will not adhere to substrates with contamination and traces of bitumen.
£ Adhesion of the sealant must only be on two opposite joint faces.
£ Do not carry out sealing operations during hot temperature conditions.
£ Use of shalitex board as a back up material should be avoided.
£ Pouring Grade version must only be applied in horizontal joints.
£ Application to be started only after 30 minutes of priming the substrate.
